To be fair, if you can afford €30 extra every day just for a coffee and lunch, you’re doing quite well for yourself and can probably invest whilst still having your coffee and lunch a couple times a week. I know it’s $ but it’s the same principle, €30, $30 all alot for a day.

People calling this living in misery don't get the point. If you'd rather be in debt worrying about money but getting the occasional sugar rush that messes up your health than go ahead... You don't have to do all of this and live a nihilistic life. Just take the tips you get here and see what works for you. The ability to budget can also help you do the things in life you've always wanted to. This guy chooses to invest it because that is where his interest lies. But you can also save half of the 7K and go on holiday with the rest if thats your thing.
